Barbara Flynn, tour organizer, has lived and worked in the Andes, and led service and study tours to Latin America for 20 years. As a Spanish teacher and student of Andean culture, she documented the role of indigenous leaders in Bolivia's return to democracy in the early 90's. Her many personal connections add depth and texture to your travel experience.

James Arévalo Merejildo is our travel facilitator and guide in Peru. Mallku, (his shamanic name) is a cultural researcher, photographer, lecturer and author of books interpreting Inca spiritual insights, including The Awakening of the Puma, Machu Picchu Forever, and Power Places in the Andes. He has discovered the esoteric significance of many sacred sites; he practices Inca spiritual traditions and beliefs, and suggests their meaning for other cultures.
