Spend a week in the beautiful Sorata Valley, working with villagers on life-changing projects. See the work of Quaker Bolivia Link www.qbl.org and the Bolivian Quaker Education Fund www.bqef.org .
Then visit La Paz, the world's highest capital city, and talk with indigenous leaders who are working to end the social exclusion of the indigenous majority and relieve their extreme rural poverty.
See pre-Inca Tiwanaku and stay at Lake Titikaka to hike to Inca ruins on the Island of the Sun.

Cost $1000* plus airfare, includes ground transportation, meals and lodging in Sorata, all hotels with breakfasts.

Volunteer in Quaker schools in La Paz, Sorata or altiplano, with a family homestay at minimal cost.
Attend language school and stay with a family to advance your Spanish.
